Recording a Radio Show from Two Locations (Two or More Co-Hosts) Using Skype

Recoding a radio show from multiple, distinct locations is easy the Network Talk Radio method. Here's what's involved:

  1. Go to http://www.skype.com and download Skype.
  2. Establish your personal or business Skype account(s).
  3. Go to http://www.pamela-systems.com and download Pamela (which is the system used to record Skype.
  4. Skype your co-host(s).
  5. Establish the Skype connection.
  6. Once established, a box will open on your desktop. It's Pamela giving you the option to RECORD THE CALL. Click YES. (If you forget to click YES when this box is open, you can still click the Pamela record button once the Pamela recording program is open and running.) +++
  7. Record your radio program.
  8. When you disconnect, Pamela will store the recording.
  9. Right-click on the recording to open a menu and click on OPEN CALL RECORDING FOLDER (fourth choice down on the menu).
  10. Congratulations! Your radio program is in that folder saved as an MP3 file!

You now have your latest Network Talk Radio program ready for upload.

+++NOTE: For just a couple of dollars a month, you can purchase your own, personal Skype phone number in YOUR area code. You can have callers---listeners or on-air guests---call that number to be on your radio program with you.
